I destroyed my first roll of film. I couldn't help it.
I was curious. I wanted to see the magic happen.

I didn't understand the light meter in my camera,
ruined all but a few frames of my first roll of film.

Then, too anxious to see my first, real darkroom print,
I switched on the light and ruined an entire box of paper.

Disaster decided me. I had to know more.

I chase the light.
